CPP Youth Organiser- Ernesto Yeboah
Youth Organiser of the Convention People’s Party, Ernesto Yeboah who is serving suspension alongside the General Secretary, Nii Armah Akomfrah has warned the Ahwoi brothers, Asiedu Nketia, Kwesi Pratt Jnr and President Mahama to stay off the CPP.

According to the suspended Youth Organiser who spoke on Joy News TV programme, “The Pulse” Monday, the 1st of August, these NDC leading functionaries as well as the Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper are pulling strings in the CPP.

“I’m asking Asiedu Nketia and Kwesi Pratt who seem to be playing the roles of General Secretary and Chairman respectively in CPP to stay off the CPP. If they want to play such roles, they should resign from their roles and contest for those positions in the CPP. Until such a time that they decide to do this, I’m warning them to stay away from the CPP.

“The CPP as it is now, is not independent. The party seem to be doing the bidding of its paymasters. Why is it that members of an opposition party like the CPP take on government because of corruption and we are suspended? I’m asking the Ahwoi brothers and Mr. Mahama to also leave our party for us,” he told host, Francis Abban.

Ernesto Yeboah and Nii Armah Akomfrah are still under suspension for according to reports, openly criticizing President John Mahama for accepting a Ford car gift from a Burkinabe contractor who won a contract in Ghana. Earlier, a statement which was released purportedly from the Disciplinary Committee of the party indicating that the two have been exonerated has been debunked by the party.
